Because my fee is not based on a percentage of the overall project but is directly between myself and my client, I can be completely focused on how to get what my client wants out of their space. I can think big and creatively, within the confines of what is functionally possible, whether that’s relocating a kitchen to get the island of my client’s dream (true story!) or ensuring there is abundant storage for the dedicated chef for all of their appliances.
Design Consultation
Client-focused consultation with tailored recommendations
This is how I start working with every client, as my approach is grounded in deeply understanding the client’s needs, lifestyle, and budget. In this 90 minute session, I focus on reviewing existing plans and/or scope of work that may have been provided by an architect, contractor or builder and put them in context of what I am learning about the client. This meeting usually takes place via phone or video call. Detailed recommendations will be provided via email following the session.
Starter Package
Comprehensive design package with personalized follow-up.
For clients seeking a more comprehensive service beyond the initial design consultation, this package encompasses an updated concept plan along with the recommendations initially provided. Additionally, it includes a 60-90 minute follow-up session for reviewing the revised plan, addressing any queries from architects or contractors, exploring further design elements, preliminary guidance on sourcing to provide a well rounded set of resources for the client. This is usually a phone or video call. (*In-person meetings are available for local clients for an additional fee.)
Full Service Package
Flexible, on demand support from project start to finish.
This is the most flexible and robust option for clients who:

Need more on demand support to engage with project stakeholders (architects, contractors, tradesmen, etc.)

Onsite oversight to confirm layouts for plumbing, appliances, electrical, windows and more (travel costs additional)

Sourcing for premium products, hardware, appliances (*All design discounts pass directly to the client, no % added to purchases.)
This option provides an opportunity to be my client’s advocate throughout the entirety of the project, and available for consultation and design review for every phase…and as new challenges arise throughout! This includes the implementation of the design plan, and working with project stakeholders to do as needed on behalf of or in support of my client throughout the lifecycle of the project. This enables me to develop a truly in depth and collaborative approach to realizing my client’s vision for their home. (*This is price based on the overall scope and needs of the client and a quote will be provided following initial consultation. Travel not included.)
